About Just One

Just One was started to build awareness of the The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation and its mission by selling high-quality products that consumers want and allows them to give back to their pet community. A portion of all the profits received from Just One collars and merchandise is donated to help homeless companion animals across the country.

  • Build Awareness of the JDH Foundation and it's goals
  • Donated profits will go to fund our primary programs of spay/neuter, shelter animal transport, education and training
  • Increase consumer knowledge of the companion animal situation in our country
  • Build a Brand that Makes a Difference in both people’s and animal’s lives

The Just One team has worked hard to find and create products that will stand out in the pet industry. Our collars were designed from the ground up to provide the next level of style and comfort for your pet. The Just One collar features a non-allergenic silicone coating with an internal nylon mesh for unparalleled strength.

About the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation

Nancy and Katherine Heigl's desire to end animal cruelty and abuse inspired them to create The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation (JDHF), an organization dedicated to animal welfare that celebrates the compassion, kindness and memory of their beloved son and brother, Jason.

  • Work directly to address the pet population crisis
  • Increase awareness of the unnecessary euthanizing of 10,000 companion animals a day in our country
  • Place rescue dogs and cats in loving homes
  • Educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills and dog fighting

In pursuit of its mission, JDHF also routinely funds qualified rescue groups as part of its networking program, which is designed to aid non-profit animal rescue and advocacy organizations in their efforts to save shelter animals. JDHF: 1) fund and assist with the transport of animals from high-kill shelters to loving homes in communities where the demand for companion pets is high, 2) funds free spay/neuter programs

The Foundation maintains an internal rescue group, the Heigl Hounds Of Hope, that finds homes for medium to large dogs from high-kill shelters. Many of the animals have suffered neglect, abandonment and abuse. JDHF is committed to directly addressing the pet overpopulation crisis and our Compassion Revolution initiative is an extensive, no-kill model that encourages accessible and affordable spay/neuter programs and the tools to promote responsible pet ownership.

The Just One Commitment

Besides donating a portion of each sale to saving pets, Just One and its associates give their time and effort to help support animals throughout the U.S. in hopes of a better tomorrow for every animal and their owners.

  • We contribute directly to rescues and shelters
  • We offer grants through a selection process for smaller facilities in need of funding
  • To raise awareness of the value of all companion animals and their innate right to life
  • We work hard to make sure our products stand out from the competition’s to give pet owners a sense of pride in our products and a recognition that they have not only purchased a great product for their own pet but helped to save a homeless one

We thank you for your purchase today and hope that you will continue to support pets throughout the U.S.
